Identify images, icons, shapes, and decorative regions so they can be moved or replaced independently.
Measure visual fidelity
Compare the reconstructed slide with the source and expose uncertain fonts, spacing, and grouping for review.
Putting a JPG or PNG onto a PowerPoint page does not make it editable. True image-to-PPT conversion requires OCR, element segmentation, font matching, layout inference, and a presentation model that keeps those pieces selectable. Complex charts and illustrations may need partial recreation rather than automatic extraction.
EditablePPT is exploring this as a core product direction because editable output is different from slide-image generation. The converter is not live today and this page does not accept uploads. The planned workflow will prioritize transparent confidence indicators and a side-by-side review before export.

Is placing an image in PowerPoint the same as converting it?
No. An inserted image remains one flat object. An editable conversion recreates text and visual components as separate PowerPoint elements.
Will the editable slide look exactly like the image?
Simple layouts can be close, but unavailable fonts, compressed images, complex illustrations, and charts may require manual correction.
