Can I download an editable .pptx from my PDF?
Yes. Each PDF page is rendered as an image, then converted into recovered text and image layers. Completed pages are combined in source order and exported as an editable PPTX.
Is conversion free, and how is it priced?
These file conversion tools are currently free and do not deduct credits. PDF and image layer conversion, and AI notes generation, require sign-in and are subject to availability and rate limits. Topic-based AI generation is a separate credit-based workflow.
Which PDFs are supported, including scanned PDFs?
Text-based and scanned PDFs are accepted, up to 20 pages and 20 MB. Recognition quality depends on page clarity. Password-protected, corrupt, or unreadable files cannot be converted.
Can I edit text, layouts, and individual elements?
Recognized text becomes editable text. Extracted image layers can be moved and resized, but text inside a remaining image is not editable. Tables, charts, fonts, and complex graphics may need manual adjustment; native chart or table reconstruction is not guaranteed.
How does this compare with rebuilding slides manually?
Conversion gives you a starting point from your existing material. Review text recognition, reading order, and layout before presenting. Manual rebuilding gives you more control over precise typography, charts, and complex layouts.
Will fonts, tables, and charts remain editable?
Recognized text can be edited, but matching the original fonts is not guaranteed. Tables and charts may remain image layers instead of native PowerPoint tables or charts.
How long does a multi-page conversion take?
Pages are processed one at a time. The current service allows a new page conversion about once per minute, and processing may take longer. You can stop and resume within the same open page; completed slides remain available.
Will PowerPoint preserve my PDF layout exactly?
The converter uses each page as a visual reference, but exact reconstruction is not guaranteed. Output slides use a 16:9 canvas. Review spacing, small text, and complex graphics before presenting.
