Does image to editable PPT conversion produce a downloadable .pptx?
Yes. Choose editable layers to recover separate text and image elements, edit the result, and download a .pptx file. Only successfully recognized text becomes editable text.
Is conversion free, and how is it priced?

Can I convert PNG, JPG, JPEG, and screenshots to PowerPoint?

Can I edit text, layouts, and individual elements?
Recognized text becomes editable text. Extracted image layers can be moved and resized, but text inside a remaining image is not editable. Tables, charts, fonts, and complex graphics may need manual adjustment; native chart or table reconstruction is not guaranteed.
How does this compare with rebuilding slides manually?

What is the difference between editable layers and an image slide?
Editable layers recover text and separate image objects. Image-slide mode places the original image on a slide: you can move or resize the picture, but its internal text stays inside the image.
What happens if no editable text is detected?
The result may contain only image layers. You can move and resize those layers, but no editable text has been recovered. Try a clearer source or add text manually in the editor.
What image size and resolution are supported?
Layer conversion accepts one PNG or JPG at a time, up to 8 MB and 25 megapixels. Clear, high-contrast slide images generally produce better recognition than blurred or very small screenshots.
