Terms of Service

Terms that apply to the EditablePPT AI presentation generation service.

Last updated: 2026-08-29

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EditablePPT website and any features we make available. By accessing or using EditablePPT, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy also applies to your use of EditablePPT.

Current Product Status

EditablePPT currently provides an active AI presentation workflow. Signed-in users can submit a topic or outline, plan the story in an AI conversation, confirm a structured outline, and generate full-slide visual previews in the browser. Generation uses credits, and the required credit amount is shown before generation begins.

The current service does not include element-level slide editing or document or PowerPoint upload. The screenshot-to-PowerPoint utility can create a downloadable single-slide .pptx locally in your browser with the screenshot preserved as one image object; it does not reconstruct text or interface details as separate editable elements. Paid credit plans apply only to the active planning and slide-preview generation features described on the pricing page. Features identified as planned, preview, beta, or coming later are not included unless the website expressly states that they are active.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you use EditablePPT on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You must create or use an account to generate presentations. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.

AI Presentation Features

When you use presentation planning or generation:

  • You remain responsible for the topics, prompts, documents, instructions, edits, and other material you submit.
  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or similar to content generated for another user. You must review and verify it before relying on, publishing, or presenting it.
  • You must confirm that your inputs and intended use comply with law and do not infringe another person's rights.
  • Product descriptions, samples, and previews do not guarantee a particular output, format, quality level, or completion time.

Do not use an AI output as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, employment, or other high-impact decisions.

Your Content

You retain any rights you hold in prompts, documents, presentations, and other material that you submit to an active feature ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, modify, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the requested service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions required to submit User Content and grant this license. You are responsible for keeping copies of important content. We are not a permanent archive unless an active feature expressly states otherwise.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable law or another person's rights.
  • Upload or generate content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, exploitative, or intended to facilitate harm.
  • Submit content that you do not have the right to use, including confidential material obtained without authorization.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Introduce malware, scrape the service in violation of access restrictions, bypass usage limits, or disrupt service operation.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content in a deceptive manner or use the service for spam, phishing, impersonation, or manipulation.
  • Reverse engineer or copy protected portions of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We may investigate suspected violations and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others.

EditablePPT Intellectual Property

The website, software, visual design, branding, and other materials provided by EditablePPT, excluding User Content and third-party materials, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the features that are actually made available to you.

Third-Party Services

EditablePPT may rely on or link to third-party services, such as hosting, analytics, payment, storage, file processing, or AI providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Fees, Billing, and Refunds

EditablePPT offers paid credit plans for the active AI planning and slide-preview generation service. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, credit amounts, usage limits, taxes, cancellation options, and applicable refund rules are disclosed before purchase. Purchasing credits does not include element-level editing, downloadable .pptx export from the AI generation workflow, or any feature identified as planned or unavailable. The local screenshot-to-PowerPoint utility is free and separate from paid AI generation. You agree to provide accurate billing information and pay charges that you authorize.

Service Availability and Changes

We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue active or preview features. We do not guarantee that the website or service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or file format. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.

Features identified as preview, beta, experimental, or early access may change substantially and may be withdrawn.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using EditablePPT at any time. If account deletion becomes available, the applicable process will be described in the account interface.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that could harm EditablePPT, our providers, or other users. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditablePPT and all active or preview features are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditablePPT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law. Your local law may provide rights or remedies that these Terms cannot restrict.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product develops or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
