Frequently asked questions
Can I download an editable .pptx from slides or notes?
Yes. Pasted notes and text extracted from PPTX slides become editable text in a new, simple slide layout. Supported embedded images are separate image objects. This rebuilds content rather than preserving the original deck design.
Is conversion free, and how is it priced?
These file conversion tools are currently free and do not deduct credits. PDF and image layer conversion, and AI notes generation, require sign-in and are subject to availability and rate limits. Topic-based AI generation is a separate credit-based workflow.
Which slide files and note formats can I use?
For PPTX output, upload a PPTX file up to 20 MB and 120 source slides, or paste up to 60,000 characters of notes. Notes mode also accepts PDF. Legacy .ppt files and NotebookLM account connections are not supported.
Can I edit text, layouts, and individual elements in the PPTX?
Yes. Rebuilt text is editable and extracted images can be moved or resized. Original masters, animations, and advanced formatting are not retained. Text inside an embedded image remains part of the image.
How does this compare with rebuilding slides manually?
Conversion gives you a starting point from your existing material. Review text recognition, reading order, and layout before presenting. Manual rebuilding gives you more control over precise typography, charts, and complex layouts.
Can I use notes copied from NotebookLM?
Yes. Copy the text from NotebookLM and paste it into this page. There is no direct NotebookLM account integration. For exported PDF slides use PDF to PPTX; for screenshots use Image to PPTX.
Can I turn slides into study notes instead?
Yes. Choose Create notes from slides to use the existing notes workspace. Upload PDF or PPTX slides, or paste text, then generate and edit notes before exporting Word or printing to PDF.
When should I use the PDF or image converter?
Use PDF to PPTX to recover layers from PDF pages, and Image to PPTX for PNG/JPG slides or screenshots. Use this page when you want to rebuild a deck from its text content or create notes from slides.
