Frequently asked questions
What is an image-based PPT?
Each slide contains a single picture, so the text inside it cannot be edited directly. This tool extracts each picture and uses AI to recover editable text and image layers.
Which files are supported?
PPTX files up to 20 MB and 20 slides with one PNG/JPG picture per slide. Multiple pictures, mixed text or charts, background pictures, cropping, rotation, and flipping are not supported. Save legacy .ppt as .pptx in PowerPoint first.
How many credits does conversion cost?
The same as image conversion: 40 credits per slide in Standard mode, or 80 in High Quality mode. Estimated cost is shown before starting, slides are charged one at a time, and failed or canceled slides are refunded. Sign-in is required.
Is the original slide order preserved?
Pictures are read in the actual presentation order, and completed slides are combined in that same order. Hidden slides are included.
Can I edit text, tables, and charts?
Recognized text is editable. Recovered image layers can be moved and resized. Tables and charts may remain images; native table or chart reconstruction is not guaranteed. Check small text, complex layouts, and formulas.
Do I need to convert to PDF first?
No. Your browser reads the pictures inside the PPTX directly. Only the current slide picture is uploaded for conversion; the entire original PPTX is not uploaded.
Can I stop and resume?
Yes, within the same open page. Completed slides remain available for editing and download. Refreshing or closing the page loses the current batch checkpoint.
Will the original layout be restored exactly?
Each original picture is the visual reference, but exact font and layout recovery is not guaranteed. The extracted picture is the input and output uses a 16:9 canvas. Margins, backgrounds, animations, and placement outside that picture are not restored.
