The familiar one- or two-minutes-per-slide rule is useful only as a rough warning. Presentation length depends on information density, speaking pace, the amount of interpretation required, and activities that add time without adding words. A better estimate combines several inputs and shows which sections are likely to overrun.
The planned calculator connects directly to scripts and talking points. The interactive calculation is not live yet. A future version should produce both a total estimate and a slide-level rehearsal plan that users can adjust after a timed run.

There is no universal number. A focused 6 to 10 slides may work, but demos, charts, audience questions, and the complexity of the topic matter more than the count alone.
Many presenters speak around 110 to 150 words per minute in a prepared talk, but technical explanation, emphasis, and audience interaction can lower the effective pace.
